Problems installing mods

Greetings. I have been trying to install a few mods for quite some time now and as you may guess, unsuccessfully. I have subscribed to several mods, both in game and using the steam platform, but my mods list is always empty. I have signed out and on again, steam has updated a few times and the list is always empty. Last week I checked it again and for maybe a second all my mods were in the list, with a transferring status next to it. But after that second the list became empty again.

What can I do about it?

Close the game, go to:

Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth\cache

Delete CivBEModsDatabase.db

Start the game again, open the mod window and wait for the game to download the mods. This can take a bit, so don't close the window.

If nothing happens after a minute or so, you can try to go to:

Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth\MODS

If there are any files in that folder, delete them. Sometimes, the game messes up when downloading. Then start by closing the game and deleting the cache-file again.
