Game occasionally crashes hard when trying to interact with objects

Crashing hard as in image freezes and hearing a constant low pitch sound. Mouse and keyboard completely locked up and computer not responding to ctrr-alt-del.

It occurred once when rotating a vase and once when trying to put a card in its slot.

Recently updated gfx drivers (2x gtx 970 in sli)
Any ideas?
