Glitches found

[Rogue]

I've been playing the game a lot, trying to see if I could find any glitches, and I'm quite satisfied with some of the skips I found (listed below)

1. Location one (Requires Cafe Parasol): Go backwards into the secret area with the catapult thingy. After you get launched by it, hold the umbrella and hold right until you reach the snowman. You should jump on the snowman's head. Next, after you jump on the head, hold the umbrella and right and you should fly over the remainder of the location.

2. Location two (No umbrella required, but they can help): At the entrance to the icy cave, when you are being taken down into it, go right up against the back wall and hold the jump button. If done successfully, you will phase into the wall. Hold right and you should skip most of the icy cave.

3. Location five (Requires black umbrella or higher): Where the route splits into two ways, go through the door into the bottom route. After you go through the second door, hold the umbrella. You should skip a bunch of the location.

4. Location fifteen (Requires black umbrella or higher): When you enter the mouth, jump and hold the umbrella backwards, then hold it forwards. You should skip some of the slopes, and with a high enough power umbrella you can skip the next part too.

5. Location fifteen (No umbrella required, but they can help): At the end of the first row, jump from the last head and hold your umbrella (if you have one). If done correctly, you should be stuck on the left hand side of the screen. With an umbrella, you can continue holding jump. Without, you may need to cycle backwards for a bit before it works. After you've done this successfully, you can continue doing the next part as per normal. On the second row from the top, you will be able to go offscreen. Continue going right until you appear at the end of the location, then jump a couple of times and you will have skipped the location. Note: nay not work sometimes.

6. Location seventeen (Requires cafe parasol): Head to the left of the cherry, with one wheel on it and one wheel off it. Hold right and jump, then use the umbrella. You should be able to jump ontop of the donut. Next, continue forwards and jump off the end of the donut. You should skip a bit of the location.

7. Location eighteen (Not really a skip) (Requires cafe parasol): On the second tier of the cake, jump on the big heart and then hold the umbrella cycle forwards. You should be able to fly over the spiky circle there.

8. Location twenty (Requires cafe parasol): Go backwards at the start to the secret area, and hold the umbrella on the air current. Next, continue holding the umbrella and cycle forwards until you either land on or go over the tall pillar, then continue to hold the umbrella and cycle forwards. You should be able to skip a fair bit of the location, before you have to fall back down.

9. Location twenty-four (Requires beach umbrella or higher): When you exit the pipe, jump and wrap around onto where it previously was. Continue along it then fall off the cliff at the back. Next, hold the umbrella for a little while and you should teleport back on screen. This isn't really much of a skip, but it is a glitch that saves time.

Extra (useless) glitches:

Location 6 (Requires cafe parasol): In the secret area where you unlock the goth boots, go to the left, jump, and hold the umbrella up. You should start clipping into the wall. Hold this for a little while, and eventually you will clip through the roof. Hold right, and you should be able to do that section larger than normal.

Location thirteen (Requires cafe parasol): At the part with the two cars and the bus near the start, jump off the end of the bus and hold the umbrella to the right. You should be able to get ontop of the crane, or you can even go past the crane.

Location seventeen: (Requires cafe parasol: Before triggering the enlargement of view area at the start, jump off the cherry and hold the umbrella to the right. You will be inside the pink donut. You can also do the same glitch with the caramel donut on the left, but it is a little more precise.

Location twenty-six (Requires beach umbrella or higher): When you enter the sliding cavern part, jump and hold your umbrella into the top left corner, against the wall that is pushing you. If done correctly, you should clip through the wall above.

So sorry for the massive delay on this, I'd somehow missed it.
Wow, you've been super thorough! You could easily work for a QA team.

1. You can also pump smaller umbrellas to get the achievement, didn't know at the time :)

I'm happy you enjoyed these discoveries; wholesome devs are the best.
If you intend to make any more games in the future (please do, I thoroughly enjoyed Icycle, and Wonderputt was a fantastic game to play through), I would be honoured to be able to playtest them :D

Wonderputt 2 is still in the works (on and off), but target platforms will depend largely on publishers etc. Thanks for kind words!

That's really good to hear that a Wonderputt sequel may be coming, I'm hyped!
