Janitor stuck in elevator bugged

So I'm trying to save the janitor stuck in the elevator but I couldn't find a solution for it. So I looked it up and apparently you're supposed to search his profession (janitor) and his place of work, but problem is for me it say electrician and not janitor and I can't change it. Is there still a way for me to complete the cage and save him or is it just broken?

isn't there a little sign next to it? like a pencil? you should be able to back down from a wrong guess

No, that's the problem. There usually are for other choices and there are for the novel, but not for the profession. I chose electrician early on and then left it for a while. Now I don't appear to be able to change it again. It unfortunately seems bugged for me.

Early on I believe there are potential wrong ones. You have to match him up as a fan I think to get on the right track

you can revert to any previous day of your current save - you can go back to before you picked the wrong answer and pick the right one

(shouldn't need to, it's a bug, but you can salvage your situation that way)

The problem is that it's several days back. I'd have to undo the progress of so many other cages to get there. I guess I'm just stuck on it now. I might have to do it on another run I guess. Really sucks.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean.

1. I suppose you have to choose between getting this cage done in this run and the progress you made with other ones
2. I'm not sure this is correct, but try loooking for treasure tower and corsairs.
the go-to way to find his bio is to search his place of work and his job there as he is quite proud of that, but his bio does also contain some corsairs imagery.

I think I've tried that already. The reason I looked it up is because I had tried just about all combinations I could think of, but nothing worked. If I do indeed need it to say janitor and can't change it because of a bug, that would explain why it didn't work.
