Well I mean, the same way you usually get people's numbers: By searching their name. As for how to get that, well... Searching for his job and where he works.

Where are you stuck? Keep calling if nobody is answering the phone, several times back-to-back or maybe at another time.

if you search on building and his profession you can find his name... search his name you get t he number. call it in time with the stuff about his fav book and admit why you know what's happened to him you can save him.. or be offered money to let him die.

Is this bugged for anyone else? I've stared at this cage for 5 days straight, and the only thing clickable is the book, the elevator door, and the doll. He gets up to write on the wall, but I can't click it, and there's never any dialogue.

Got similiar bug. Janitor is sleeping for three days.Worked fine in first two plays but now stuck. There was some dialogue on first day. Now no dialogue. Just sleeping.
