high fps but choppy gameplay
game runs at very high fps but it feels like about 30fps, it's very choppy and sluggish and doesn't feel smooth at all
is there a way to improve performance and make it feel like the high fps i am getting without turning my settings down as i know my pc is more than capable of running this

is it good ? it has all fixed for me, and last thing, this 3d engine doesn't support variable refresh rate, so you have to lock at 60hz 85hz 100hz 120h 14hhz

unfortunately still runs pretty bad, all my other steam games run good except a couple that are badly optimised

try Dirt rally 2.0, it's a better game....
V rally 4 needs a strong CPU, i5 8600K at minimum i guess...

disable vsync in the ingame options menu.

never used vsync, always off, game has seemed to fix itself, now running an i9 9900kf

Same problem here. Stuttering is horrible. No matter what I try, I have stuttering, Microstutters and regular stutters as well.
Not playable for me. I would play much more, if this issue would be fixed.

I read through many of the files with Notepad. It says in one of them that you must use V-Sync ON for a smooth experience. I'm having no issues on my i7-3770K and GTX 1070 graphics card.
It's buttery smooth 98% of the time. I also have selected Window-Borderless and for whatever reason it's the sweet spot for me. Hope that helps some of you.

Tryed everything.. not playable for me..

Damn fps drops and bad optimization. The game works really awful.

I don't think the developers care. Their only concern is to be able to sell DLC.

If you're using an nVidia gpu go into your cp and force vsync to "fast" then in game shut vsync off.

If that doesn't fix it set vsync to on in game while still forcing it to fast in cp.

Oh and you have to be playing in fullscreen for this to work

That fixes it 90% of the time in games with frame pacing issues.

No, these are not a solution, after all, it's the developers who need to fix the game.

this doesn't mean that there isn't a workaround. by that logic, DSFIX shouldn't exist
