I see you like stating the obvious. Thats fine.
Lol I know that. Its just fanservice or subtext from what I've seen, oh well.
I don't really see what's so obvious about what I said here. Whether the game has Yuri or not seems to be a deal breaker to some and I'm questioning why.
....
Well duh.
Its because games containing meaningful yuri are rare. In Blue Reflection, the setting and premise itself is more than appropriate for a yuri a title. Its another plus for the people that are a fan of that genre. Like me.
It can be enough to wet the appetite, and go for a purchase.
And as Mangotank said the Magical Girl genre has a long and fruitful story with yuri.
Just look at the Nanoha Series (with the two protagonists living together with her adopted daughter), Puella Magi Madoka Magica (the whole premise is related to the love of another girl from another... and she's not the only one), Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha (Tougou, one of the protagonist is in love with her best friend, and she seems to reciprocate), Symphogear (Or, better, Symphogay)...
That being said, no one has taken the first step and said outright that the protagonist are lesbians. But the subtext is as subtle as a ton of brick falling on your head.
Anyways, long story short, some people loves yuri and Gust and the Magical Girl genre have a story with yuri friendliness, so some of us were hopeful.
I thought that was a no-romance at all game.
Care to elaborate?
It's elaborated in the game? Or only a crush?
Understandable. We appreciate your sacrifice!
I can't believe you left out Sailor Moon which has actual canon girl on girl relationships that are actually handled decently, as well as many charcters of ambiguous sexuality.
And Sailor Moon is mostly het, after all. Even if Mamoru is so boring that the fact alone make people ship the girls together.
But, yes, having the very canon Haruka and Michiru is good.
Wish that more series would give us canon lesbian relationship.
That being said, Symphogear is gayer, even without the canon.
I mean, Miku activation song (which comes from the heart) is about how much loves Hibiki and how she never will let her go. Hibiki calls Miku her 'sunshine' and says that she will always will come back to her no matter what. Because besides her is the warmest place in the whole Earth.
And there's the whole thing of sleeping together even when they have bed bunks.
And Shirabe and Kirika... when they fight each other (for rather complicated reasons, long story short they tought that the only way to save the other was stopping her) they shouted how much they loved each other.
I wish that they sometime step up they game and give us at least a kiss between Miku and Hibiki.
I know that I'm delusional, but still...
