The trick is to place bets lower than the total amount of dice with that value and try to call a lie when the AI places a bet higher than that value of dice under both cups, or "Spot on" when the AI bets the exact total of that value of dice under both cups.
Apart from that, it's just learning your favorite playstyle against the AI and trying to trick it or force it's hand. Good luck!
So long as there are the bid amount or more under BOTH cups, the bid is acceptable. It only becomes a lie when the amount of that dice value are exceeded by the bid. (Three two's, I have one and you have two is acceptable : Three two's where we both only have one is not accepted)
