BTW, the demo convinced me to get this game. Yes, some of your battlefield units have AI pathfinding problems when they're left on their own, but it's easy enough for you to switch back and forth between units and take control of them yourself, and to coax them onto the right path. That sort of micromanaging doesn't bother me *too* much, in a game like this.
Carrier Command: Gaea Mission reminds me of one of my all-time favorite old games, Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising (also available here, on Steam). One of the reviewers here said that Hostile Waters did this sort of game so much better, and that's probably true, but I'm getting this game anyway because the graphics are fantastic and I really like games of this sort.
