I've been looking for a detailed sim/model of the seattle/puget sound area for a few years now. How detailed is it? It it accurate for any of you that play and live in the area? I've only been twice and can't quite tell.

It seems a bit undetailed....Google Earth it is not. Some people have performace issues so they don't want too much detail, but I'd like to see better textures and more detail. I think a newer gaming system could handle it. Google should seriously make a game out of Google Earth. I'd love to be able to fly over my house or launch a missile at my old school or drag race against trafic GTA style in my home town, then turn my computer off and live a normal life.

Being from WA I can say its fair. I was able to tell where I was on my first flight (which was ironically in seattle). I flew up past the peirs, towards the space needle. Circled it a few times, looked at the EMP (experaince Music Project, a multi colord building with unique geometry near the sapece needle).

And, on a COMPLETE JOKING SIDE, as I was having issues controliing my heli, being my first time and all, I did ram it right into the needle lol.

@Puncher D Be aware, Google Earth does have a "flight sim" mode. It is not physically accurate by any means, but it does give you the option of flying around.

I know I'm a bit late here, but I live in the area. It's a straight up satellite conversion. I was able to follow from Coleman Dock the path my ferry to and from Seattle uses, visit my house on Kitsap peninsula, visit my school and then traverse my path to work. So, I'd say it's pretty good, just don't expect too much detail in the outlying areas.
Though, in Seattle, the stadiums look the same, the skyscrapers are the same and the roads are the same. Not a whole lot of deviation that I noticed.
