Mod support?

First of all lovely little game, i love it. Relaxing and easy.
By any chance do you plan adding mod support so players could create their own enviroments, objects and so on?

It's something I really hope to do in the future. Unfortunately custom objects are much more complicated to implement than sharing track savegames, so that's what the Workshop will initially support.

The moment Workshop support is added is the moment I get this game, cause I am DEFINETLY the target market. I played with toy trains as a kid, and wanted to become a train engineer. Turns out I became a hydro engineer, but I'd love to play with trains again.

Some fancy retexture mods and others could be great too.

I would love for an option to be able to replace the wooden train with a proper steam train style model, and be ale to create mountains with trees and tunnels and rivers below bridges and everything. I know its a wooden train set but the title just says train set, not specifically wooden, so it would be an amazing dlc or mod workshop inclusion. I'd absolutely buy it then.

Yeah Mod support will definitely widen the range of audience here! Not saying the base Game won't have great Content, but all games who officially support Modders, goes far and beyond any Developers imagination.

Honestly if this game does get mod support, i'll be waiting for the Crap ton of Thomas Wooden Railway mods to come out.
