- Can the reset option also reset any blocks you've placed?
- Deleting boosters doesn't quite work right. I've found that depending on where I've moved the mouse from before putting it over the booster changes whether I'm able to delete it. The screenshots below are taken from the same angle on the same booster, however you'll see that in one case I get the long cursor thing (ie. can delete) and the other I get the short (can't). Minor issue, but that's what early access is for!

- Whoever added boosters in is a genius!
I get warned twice that I am going to clear my current track
Good point, I'll make it so the warning only appears if you actually have a track built
Skip passenger tutorial
Will do
Independent track/camera height
The current system is kind of a compromise because not everybody has a mouse wheel, Q/E were added fairly recently because of this. So it's not so much a 'duplicate' control as it is a required minimum alternative. I'll see if I can come up with something more elegant.
Money in free play
So the money system was kind of last minute. You actually do earn money in Free play through play time every few minutes, but the system is kind of basic and requires that you stay in the same environment for the time. I'll try and make it based on global play time instead. The passenger things should work though, what issues are you having with them?
Movable camera
You can move the camera with 2,4,6,8 on the numpad. I know it's odd but that was mainly just designed for trailer recording. I'll make it easier to use soon.
Toy box options off screen
You can use right mouse and drag to pull the row sideways.
Cargo tooltip
Thanks, I'll fix that
Walls
The feedback I got a while ago was that walls make the game feel more claustrophobic, like you're trapped. I'm still experimenting with environments in general so I'll see what works for each.
Instant throttle
Passengers getting on moving train
I'd be curious how others feel about these, personally I'm happy with the current set up.
This was me not realising you had to put the passengers on a platform initially - I was expecting them to go onto stations so was placing those and spawning passengers nearby. Sorted now!
So you can, thanks!
This is possibly a consequence of me playing the game with my 4 year old. Being that age they're very stop / start, so having to throttle the train up all the way after each (seemingly 5 seconds) that she stops it is a little tiresome!
Glad you did, they're really cool!
So onwards we travel through the journey that is my questioning and bug finding:
- I foolishly forgot to unlock passenger carriage before I ran out of money. Turns out it didn't matter though, as from what I've seen if you open the toolbox and try to unlock it (with zero money) or preview it a carriage gets added anyway. Not sure if that means you never meant it to be a unlockable thing, but if you do want it to be unlockable can I suggest that you get a warning when unlocking the passenger spawn things highlighting that you don't have carriages yet?
- Loading save files is broken. For example create a simple track on the clear level and save it. Change the level to the apartment then load the save you just made. You'll get the track from your save in the apartment map!
Additionally the train position isn't saved, which means that even if you start with the clear level and load it, if you've changed the track in such a way that the start position wasn't the default you can never get the train back onto the track.
Along with this can we have a way of repositioning the train?
- Does the speed check object actually do anything?
- Here's a really random one for you that I encountered whilst playing around. Make an oval track (just 6 pieces) like the one in this screenshot then throttle the train up as far as it will go. As it's running add 10 carriages and you'll see all is good. Add an 11th and the train will magically stop. You can start it up again, but the same will happen. Doubt that anyone will encounter this under normal circumstances, I was just playing around!

- Is there a way to remove carriages? I've tried pressing C in all manner of places hovering over the damn things but nothing happens!
- The clear track option doesn't get rid of carriages. I know the option says 'Clear TRACK' so it's technically doing the right thing, but if you've got a few carriages on and use this option you're screwed, since the train will start moving to allow for the carriages from the off before you get any track in!
- Perhaps I'm misunderstanding this, but should passengers get off at their specific station types? I made a train and added normal, business and wedding passengers to it however when I stopped at a wedding station they all got off.
- Would it be possible to turn off the depth of field effect? Setting the graphics to basic does it, but obviously ruins everything else!
I'll leave you in peace, at least for now...
