Just use alt+enter to enlarge to full screen on Windows 10. This solution worked for me.

Yeah, but the image will be upscaled.
This is a resolution fix.

Ok. I see. The screenshots on this site though shows cut borders on each side. Mine fills up the whole screen without any dark borders on each side. Just need some adjustment on the Nvidia Control Panel.

I am using the retail box copy though, not the steam version.

That's because your monitor brutally upscales and squashes the image.
This fix actually shows MORE on the sides since it sets the game to 16:9 instead of 4:3.

Frankly it doesn't look squashed to me and it fills the whole screen without any borders. I am not sure though if it is set at 16:9 although I don't really notice any cutoff on each side of the picture. From instructions that I got from another older game forum discussion, I have modified the NVIDIA Control panel to use the GPU and not the monitor to upscale the program and that seems to have solved a lot of my resolution problems with older games including Syberia and Disciples 2 as well as Onimusha 3 all of which I play in full screen mode.

MY norton keeps removing the files I extract from the zip folder cause it says it's not safe so anyone know of a way I can bypass this or any tips on how I get this working properly.

Hi. Are there anyone still here? :)
Just unpack all files from archive, from a link, and nothing happened. Can you give me some advice, pls?

Did you open the .ini file. You have to edit it with your desired settings.

Solve my problem by installing higher version of game that mine
This hd fix works for 1.0.0.1 version (mine was 1.0.0.0)
(and already got "S offensive" rank 😎)

Hello? is Anyone still on this thread? I managed to upscale to 1080 in game , but some cinematics show 2 black bars at the top and bottom, or simply show a big black square at the middle of the screen. Anyone knows what might be causing it or how to fix it ?

As I know, this problem with cinematics upscaling is not solved
hi, trying to fix this issue too, there is a hex edited oni3.exe on {LINK REMOVED} that works perfectly, but its modified to work only with ultra wide monitors 21:9
If threre is someone to hex edit oni3.exe same way, only to fit it to 16:9 1080p it will be nice
