True Ending?

I collected all 7 crystals, in my items it says Rainbow Crystal, but I didn't get the true ending. What am I supposed to do to see the true ending?

I really liked this game and really wanted to 100% it, but some parts are just too hard core for me, I'm just too bad, my fingers hurt from the controller and will not bother trying anymore. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed it.

Btw where is the second gen in 1-8?

Here's a hint for 1-8: after you raise the platform, look very closely for something else that has changed in the room.

alright, I kept playing despite I didn't want to and made pretty good progress, even on some of the gems/time attacks, I never thought I would mange. So now, I'm only missing 5 gems and the true ending to have 100%. It would be great if any of the pro players could give me a hint, the gems I'm missing are:

- 5-9 (3) I'm lost with the puzzle for the last gem

- 6-2 (1) where the heck is the first gem?
- 6-6 (3) 15 seconds for 8 slimes that take 2 bullets each before they die, or 3/4 jumps and water rising up and down, looks to me like this is impossible.
- 7-5 (1) I cant find the first gem.
- 7-6 (3) that last gem gives me the creeps, I have no idea what to do.

5-9 (3) : You need to guide the bat at the room with that many door so it can go light up the switch.
Just play around clicking those two switch.
6-2 (1) : You need to guide the bat to a wall where the wall looks weird.
6-6 (3) : If you don't aim for no-dash, just use dash (you can either stop the timer with your Dopple-dash, or defeat the enemy with dash).
If you are aiming for no-dash, you need to shoot upward to defeat some of the slime that climbing the wall while stomping on it to kill it faster. If it's done correctly, there are actually 3 seconds spare time.
7-5 (1) : There is a trail of coin pointing toward the gem.
7-6 (3) : Actually, the gem can only get retrieved when it is colored red, but then again, you might accidentally obtain the first and second gem without really realizing it. So yeah, you simply need to guide a bat to obtain it.

- Final boss : Well, the normal ending is quite weird isn't it? It must have something to do with the thing you get in the end. With the Rainbow Crystal in inventory, the Cat can see the truth behind it. Just try to alter it.

tkhnoman, thanks for the hints. I managed to get the level 6 gems, but I'm still stuck at the others.

7-5 (1) is probably the best hidden gem in the entire game, I assume it is somewhere at the end of the stage, but I just don't see where it is. I tried jumping up going under the platforms where there are coins, juming on the roof top, jumping/dashign upwards where those 3 bird enemies are placed and still. - got it now.

5-9 (3) is really tough. I already figured you need to guide that yellow bird to the left, but holy cow, I'm still stuck and no idea how to do it. - got it now.

7--6 (3) yeah I know you need to guide some enemy to that gem, like in 7-6 (2), but I don't see how this works, the ghost keeps going back to the "eye" if it is too far away from the eye. - got them all now, thanks to user Adelion who gave me hints for the world 7 gems :)


thanks for the great game, I wish it would be more popular and people would make youtube videos with their solutions.

Could you elaborate on this? I have the rainbow crystal, but i beat the last boss and the ending was still the same. Don't tell me I have to get every single crystal do I?

You need to have all 6 or 7 crystals (don't remember exactly). you can check your items to see how many you have, if it shows you the number you still miss some, otherwise it will be one Rainbow Crystal. The final boss last form has that rainbow crystal then, the trick is to destroy the crystal instead of the final boss last form.

By the looks at your achievements you visited all ponds already, but I think to get two out of the seven crystals you need to have the upperdash ability and maybe another one to get these. If you don't have these abilities yet, collect gems until you can buy them from the shops.

Thanks for the info. Yes I'm on new game+ which gives all abilities from the start and the up dash ability is very handy.

For the life of me, I can't get that laser bat to go where I want him to in 5-9. Graaawr.

Edit, nevermind, Got it. That and the mirror laser puzzle were nightmares.
