Please fix the co-op can't shoot bug!!

Not sure if the devs still listen or even update this game anymore. So far been having a blast in this game, co-op is where it shines though. Sadly there is an issue when playing co-op where the guest players gun wont shoot for some reason. Which means we have to either remake the game or have him melee only, which isn't fun. Please devs fix this one thing at least, it seems a very minor fix to enable us to enjoy your game in co-op mode.

I just got through playing almost a full run with a friend and I never had any issues. Maybe it is with a certain weapon?

No, it was in certain buildings and I wasnt the only one its a known issue.

I said certain WEAPONS not buildings. You need to take detailed notes of everything that was happening when this issue occurred as it seems to only happen to some people, not everyone. Also need info on ISP speed/type, firewall settings etc all these things could contribute since you stated this happens during online co op.

It's not a "known issue" if only some people complain about it and the devs have not acknowledged that it is a "known issue" as far as I am aware. It is not happening to everyone so that means there are certain factors contributing to the issue which is why we need details so someone can dig into it and maybe come up with a fix or work around.

If I experience this I will report here, but thus far I have had 0 issues with the main game. The DLC however I couldn't see my friends character model and the health and ammo numbers were a jumbled mess, either way that DLC is not something I would probably play again anyway as I prefer the main game more.

I read what u said dude I know you said WEAPONS and im telling u it wasnt the weapons it was the buidings, mainly the apartments is the place we had issues with. I know it was the buildings/apartments after trying it further with a friend I just never reported here again because at that point I dont care anymore. They obviously aren't coming back to fix anything so Im not going to take "detailed notes" for something I know what the issue is anyway which was the apartment map where the problem was for me and my buddy, they aint going to fix ♥♥♥♥ anyway so whatever.

Could still be an issue on your end (not your fault necessarily) as my friend and I never had problems in the apartments. Could be a connection thing or who knows without details other than apartments. Try having you and your friend verifying files and then try again and see if that does anything. Or try playing with someone else and see if the same thing happens. If you aren't willing to make the effort to see if it might be something locally rather than with the game itself then that is on you of course. Again not saying it's your fault, but stuff happens.

Dude its not an issue with me, it's the game. Also dont you think we tried all the verifying file nonsense and everything else already, nothing worked. Many others have also reported on this so its not me, maybe you got lucky? Just because you had no problems don't mean it isn't there. Honestly I gave up on this game long ago anyways so I dont care to argue about it because I dont have a dog in the fight anymore, but good luck though finding out because I really dont care at this point lol.

I don't see "many others". Just because a vocal minority has issues doesn't mean it's a rampant problem. Case and point when my friend and I played last night, multiple missions in the apartments and no issues.

I believe you had an issue but it is not a widespread thing considering there are only 2 whole Threads about it and only like 10 people saying they had the issue as well, that is hardly anything considering the amount of players there are.

Not here to argue. From how some describe the issue it sounds like a network issue of some sort. I would investigate ISP speed, firewall settings, etc

Another minority issue it would seem. My friend and I joined up no issues at all first try. Try verifying files or do a re-install. Check anti-virus and firewall settings, or disable them and try joining up and see if you can. If so then add an exception in your AV or Firewall software for RICO.

Unfortunately I’m playing on switch so I can’t do any of those options like I would on PC. Also this is the only type of forum for the game so I have no other options… Seems like I’m on the latter end of SOL but it was only $1.99 so I’m not too upset.
