If i have two monitors can i play split screen with each player on his own monitor?
Just curious if i have a dual monitor setup if i can have each player on their own monitor during split screen.

Bumping this because I'm also interested in the answer.

Additionally, on PC splitscreen, could I have one player using keyboard and mouse, and the other using a controller?

I'll test both these things right now, I have a controller + dual screen. Give me some time.

Okay, So, You can split screen using M&K + Controller.

You can NOT split screen and have each instance run dual monitor, I mean, it makes sense, That'd be like running 2 copies of the game at once.

You may be able to run across two screens. What I did for RE6 was move my two monitors in Control Panel to be on top of each other, then run the game in windowed move and make it so each screen is in the right place. After that, use the windows magnifier tool to zoom in and make the windows bigger. It isn't ideal, but much better than splitting one tiny screen in half. This might not work for this game, but you can try. Theoretically it should work for any split screen game.

Clever Clever Clever... Might give this a try. Strangely enough, also for RE6

Right click on your desktop > Display Settings

Where it says Monitor 1 and Monitor 2, Drag it so Monitor 1 or 2 (Whichever you prefer) is on top of the other.

I know this is a couple months old but all you need to do is go into your display adapter's control panel, Nvidia Control Panel, Radeon Settings, etc. and make a custom resolution for your monitors side by side (Eyefinity for AMD.) as long as their vertical resolution is the same and set them up as one single monitor, start the game and play it at your new resolution. So 1920x1080 x 2 horizontally would be 3840x1080. If you made a custom resolution with the monitors on top of each other or if the game only supports vertical split screen it would be 1920x2160. I've done this for all games that support wonky resolutions and it's always worked perfect. Menu's might get messed up but it's still easy enough to navigate.

I've done this with four 1080p TV's and monitors for 4 player fullscreen gaming and it's great.
