Heat Update 22 - Bug Catching and Fishing

Schools of Fish and insects have appeared throughout the world! Grab a rod, attach your bait, and cast your line to try catch the biggest and most rare fish you can. Cook up your catch for a tasty meal, or sell them in town and at the shipping bin.

Bug Net: Gather some bait using your trusty bug net. Alternatively, you could try shoveling to unearth some worms and beetles beneath your feet.

Wooden Fishing Rod: A cheap rod with a short line and a sinking lure.

Banded Fishing Rod: A fishing rod with a floating lure.

Notched Fishing Rod: A fast-reeling fishing rod with a controllable lure.

We are taking the servers down and rolling them back up in order to process the update. We will also be wiping Official servers for this update.

Here are the changes for Update 22:

- World chunks below the terrain no longer load. (This makes distant ground-level data load a little sooner.)
- Added the Bug Catching Net.
- Added server-seeded bug swarms at ground level. These can be collected from swarms with the Bug Catching Net.
- Added Bee, Black Fly, Butterfly, Dragonfly, Firefly, and Wasp swarms to catch.
- Bugs can be collected randomly when using a shovel.
- Added Beetle, Grasshopper, Ladybug, and Worm loot drops to shoveled ground.
- Added the Wooden Fishing Rod: A cheap rod with a short line and a sinking lure.
- Added the Banded Fishing Rod: A fishing rod with a floating lure.
- Added the Notched Fishing Rod: A fast-reeling fishing rod with a controllable lure.
- Bugs can be attached to fishing rods as fish bait.
- Added server-seeded fish schools to large rivers and bodies of water.
- Fish vary in size and speed to add more or less difficulty to individual catches.
- Added Bass, Mexican Snook, Perch, Pike, Trout and Walleye fish schools.
- Added Raw Fish, Cooked Fish, and Smoked Fish. (Much like the meat before it.)
- Liquids can no longer be quality-boosted by adding a drop of something better to the top of the bucket.
- Items made from materials that cannot have quality levels are no longer an invalid quality.
- Fixed the endless shivering during audio hypothermia.
- Added minimal heat sources to neutral buildings, so that players inside them will not freeze.

NOTE:
- Re-bundled 32 GB of textures, which will be downloaded and replaced. (The bundles were corrupted during an unusual build error so we had to rebundle.)

Update 22 (Hotfix 1) :
- Reverted the change to terrain chunk loading, under the suspicion that it is causing "Waiting for Pages" to hang.

Update 22 (Hotfix 2) :

We have put a new hotfix out and have wiped the Official Servers. Community servers may want to wipe if they have experienced issues with stockpile spam as well.

We apologize for any inconvenience, as we made a mistake during the last build process that enabled a few server commands. This has now been corrected.

Hey DEV it says you were just online. I crashed Fri. When I logged back in I had dev rights on the NA Official PVE server. I've opened a discussion, posted replies followed the twitter link & left a report there. I don't know how else to get a hold of you all. Someone on server said discord which I've never used, so asked them to post on there for me. This is a major bug that really needs to be addressed as I'm probably not the only one with this issue, just the only one saying anything about it .

Try delete your Heatmap in your AppData folder.

"C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\CodeHatch\Heat"

AppData is probably hidden but If you type this in the search bar of your map you will find it. Its a cache map. Fixed every Heat starting problem for me so far.

***URGENT*** You left all server commands open for players to use after your hotfix. The server will now need to be wiped again and these commands turned off. I believe this is game wide on PVP and PVE US and EU. This is game breaking. Please address asap.

I have not experienced this or seen any ingame disussion of it on EU PVE, worth a dev checking before they go wiping en masse.

The three players were shearogue, gunslinger chris, and col Klink.
They first tried to raid my base with tnt they got from the exploit. After they failed then spammed thousands of stockpiles around our base.
After we called them out their excuse was it is the devs fault. They had a choice to use it or not. They said it was posted on the forums so some how that made it ok for them to use it.
After that we left and the sounds of it everyone else did too.
I would say Sir Farimore these 3 people probably just killed your game unless they are banned. Not many people play on the servers and 2 of my friends even uninstalled the game after this.

A - More than 3 players were using this across multiple servers. It was learnt from the forum page.
B - I didn't spawn the items on your base nor use any dyno on it. I issued a command in an empty field and to my shock the devs messed up permission levels ( My thought on how this was made possible)
C - I've learned many glitches and such from YOU in the past Damn we were even friends on discord at one point. Remember teaching me how to build inside of a mountain? I do... Remember telling me about the presidential money glitch with the taxes 4 wipes ago? Damn Also the ability to see flags through walls. Your buddy Sam taught me without even knowing it my friend.... and he likes to brag about it also.
D - Ban us for developer error, and commands made freely available to the public without any such modification of code, or running an outside program. Yes that will go over well, and certainly not stop us from playing.
E - Server would have to be wiped anyways..... People were doing it on every other official server.
F - I mean you also accuse Klink and I for cheating because we are better at shooting rifles than you so your above comment is pretty pointless.
G - Glad you finally typed my name properly.

that was a major exploit -Way major step to take. I work hard and to have to start over so you can have 10 minutes of fun well what can I say. I understand while others are mad.

Not saying you but one of your group did and i shot you outside of my base when it happened.
The money glitch 4 wipes. You and cpt frosty were the ones that told us about after you walled off the president so no one else could get it.
No different than the times you used to glitched flags into mountains so they couldnt be attacked.
The point is you chose to use it.
