How to drink from well?!

I try the bucket, but I only pour the water out, when trying to put it in hotbar and drink from it. How do I drink from the well? I do know that animals can drink from the bucket in their inventories, I just cant figure out how to drink, myself.

you drag water from well into waterskin, they are cheap to make. then put waterskin in slot to choose

Unintuitive. If I equip the waterskin, Grab bind should refill it at a well and in the river. I've not succeeded in refilling waterskin yet on Homestead, certainly the river doesn't work even if it says hold to refill or whatever.

cant fill anything with water not from well not from river.. cant fill bucket or cropthing or canteen.. is this normal? or just something they need to fix
