Stuck with Inog and Anog

[Mental Paradox]

I've done all the quests in Silden, and then all the quests Anog had for me in and around Geldern. Now, Anog doesn't want to speak to me, but he's supposed to follow me to Silden to meet with Inog (who also doesn't want to speak to me). I read about some "black mage", but I don't have any such quest and have not found any such character (he's not in Trelis, and not in his cave, either). Seems I'm stuck. I heard the scout I saved for Anog was supposed to tell me about the mage, but I don't think he did. He followed me, he thanked me for saving his butt and disappeared when the quest was completed.

Yes, thank goodness. I'd actually given up, and I explored the whole world and leveled up to a really high level before I accidentally strolled into Anog's place again days later. Then I discovered the scout who'd "disappeared" was casually walking around Anog's place all along... simply in a different room... Silly me. Talked to him, and managed to finish the story with no issues!

Yes, spy. Can't believe I never bothered to look in that other room before!
