October '24 OEM Update
sucks absolute A S S . You can't turn, even in a burm, without sliding. You don't even need to put in any gas, it feels like this version of OEM is a slip-and-slide simulator. "With this update we're taking a few steps back" my ass.
It makes wanting to actually play online races less of a fun thought than it already was, because what's the point when I'm not even racing anyone else, just trying not to slide out on a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ straightaway. There's nothing you can do in your setup either to minimize the sliding either.

So you like to just hold gas in turns and lean back?

Okay, I will admit. On higher speed parts of the tracks - straight-aways, long sweepers - I do tend to lean back a lot to keep the front wheel from getting obliterated by bumps. It just sucks that I feel like I'll get penalized for leaning back at all, especially on rougher tracks with a lot of breaking bumps at the entrance/exits of corners.

yea i was used to leaning back all the time and i can feel the penalization too but i do not think it is THAT bad
