Help with driving setup in MX Bikes
Hi everyone,

I bought MX Bikes on Steam about 6 months ago, and recently downloaded the 2024 motorcycles along with some tracks. The game looks amazing, but I'm having a lot of trouble with the driving mechanics.

My rider keeps falling constantly, the bike barely brakes, and I feel like I don’t have proper control. I’ve watched some videos on YouTube and noticed that other players seem to have a much smoother and more stable experience.

I imagine my issue might be with the setup, both for the bike and the driving configuration in the game. Could anyone guide me with this? It would be really helpful if you could share screenshots of your setups or give me some tips on how to optimize my configuration for a better experience.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I've found most people are stingy with their setups and refuse to help without payment. I'm still using stock setups with the OEMs. You just have to put in the time and get familiar with how the bike responds to inputs. Seriously, it takes a TON of time to get the hang of it but so rewarding when you do. I'm still not great by any means but just keep grinding and it'll start to just click.

Look up a YouTube video that explains the settings and what they do. Once you watch that go into the game and adjust accordingly.
Mostly a skill issue likely. The threshold to get around an easy track without falling is high. Games hard to start.

stock oem setups are perfect already besides supercross. adjust your controller binds to whats comfortable to you and mess around with the lean percentage slider in the settings menu that may help you in the corners and with the weird physics you get when going very slow. in this game the faster you are the smoother you are. for the brakes use the setting combined brakes and turn the sliders to 50% 150% that should help your issue. The new oem bikes(released today) also include engine braking (slows you down when off the gas to help in corners). go to mxb mods if u havent already got the new oem pack. start out on forest and other simple tracks like bigsendmx and temucula creek. these are good tracks to get the hang of the bike on dirt and sand. once you get the hang of it, it will be much more enjoyable. any other questions just comment on my profile so i get notification id be glad to help.

also on mxb mods get the a-kit bikes and the factory bikes. these are a bit easy to ride but could also be a double edged sword and make you like the oem bikes less. other good mods are maxhud (bit complicated to install watch the full youtube video its only a few minutes long) and you can also get some other free tracks just check out the website.
