Inverted lean controls?

I have been playing the demo version (downloaded from the mx bikes website) for a day now and it seems like the leaning controls are inverted. Putting the right stick up, it leans back, and when cornering, it seems like I get a much tighter turn when leaning the opposite direction. It works perfectly fine when I play mx vs atv reflex but mx bikes just seems backwards. Please let me know if there'e something switched in my settings or if its just something Im going to have to get use to if I buy the full game. Thank you!!

thats the physics of the game, you use counter balance to help set up and make turns

Go back into your controls and pay attention to when it asks you to input the lean.
On lean forward and back you need to move the stick to the rear, this is why your F/B lean is inverted.
