When you are breaking stand up and lean back, enter corner with steady trottle
I noticed in third person my bike seems to be almost strafing towards the turn which is weird. The physics, especially in low speed situations, are a little... suspect.
edit : I was always told to put weight on the front during turns, putting my butt as far forward as I can. My character in game even sticks his leg way out front, implying he wants the weight there. . I don't get it.
My knowledge on dirt bikes is limited, and even then getting the physics right in a motorcycle game sees so difficult, I'm not knocking the game.
Thanks for your help.
the physics suck
The best way to approach this game for beginners is to ride the bike as though "YOU" are going to get hurt if you fall, treat it as you are riding in real life.
Doing this will help you to get the correct mindset for playing this sim.
The above approach will help you out a lot, the physics don't suck once you are used to the way this game plays.
Setting up your controls so they feel right to you is also essential, this can be a pain to do but it makes a huge difference to the feel of the riding.
It took me a few tries, then after I put about 8-10 hours into basic riding I started to get the hang of it and could ride around a basic track. Don’t give up though cause once you get the hang of it and your settings to where they feel right for you it is a very well made game. This game encapsulates one of the most important things in a game and that’s physics. The physics are very realistic. Just don’t give up at least until you have around 10 hours of play time into the game
