MX Bikes

How the F do I play this?
Man, difficult game.
I have a little experience with dirt bikes IRL. I was always told to lean forward during turns to get the weight into the front wheel. Is this what I'm suppose to do? Press my right stick forward and... into or away from the turn? How do I corner lol.

Hi, you need to sit down in corners and put pressure on the outside footpeg (lean in the opposite direction where your corner heads to get more pressure to the rear wheel)
When you are breaking stand up and lean back, enter corner with steady trottle:steamthumbsup::steamthumbsup: sit down in corner Apex and open trottle more.
So lean away from the turn and back? So mostly the sticks will be in opposite directions, right?

I noticed in third person my bike seems to be almost strafing towards the turn which is weird. The physics, especially in low speed situations, are a little... suspect.

edit : I was always told to put weight on the front during turns, putting my butt as far forward as I can. My character in game even sticks his leg way out front, implying he wants the weight there. . I don't get it.
My knowledge on dirt bikes is limited, and even then getting the physics right in a motorcycle game sees so difficult, I'm not knocking the game.

Thanks for your help.

I would suggest for any new players to forget about the right stick to begin with, just learn how to ride first without falling all of the time and then maybe start to use the right stick.

The best way to approach this game for beginners is to ride the bike as though "YOU" are going to get hurt if you fall, treat it as you are riding in real life.

Doing this will help you to get the correct mindset for playing this sim.

The above approach will help you out a lot, the physics don't suck once you are used to the way this game plays.

Setting up your controls so they feel right to you is also essential, this can be a pain to do but it makes a huge difference to the feel of the riding.

It took me a few tries, then after I put about 8-10 hours into basic riding I started to get the hang of it and could ride around a basic track. Don’t give up though cause once you get the hang of it and your settings to where they feel right for you it is a very well made game. This game encapsulates one of the most important things in a game and that’s physics. The physics are very realistic. Just don’t give up at least until you have around 10 hours of play time into the game
