Does leaning left/right actually do anything?
I've gotten around the track pretty decently lately, can turn laps without falling and clearing all jumps. I'm not using the left/right lean functions, I don't think it does anything. Doesn't seem to help to weight the outside peg.

Is that just me or does anybody else use those?

I makes a difference for me when jumping, so must do something. But like you I can't notice the difference when cornering and leaning really, maybe when sitting (which i do in all corners) it's not effective? Also if you're quick you can save a fall to the side with it sometimes.

if you lean to the right while sitting and turning left i think you can steer much more deeper to the left without falling. It at least feels like that in first person... idk...

Yea it kinda feels right but I don't go any faster it seems, I think you lean away from the bike giving the impression that the bike leans over more maybe?

When you really start railing and coming in hot in every corner it can be useful, for example if you are coming in fast into a turn but you are kind of drifting too far left coming into a left turn, i will just bump the stick 2-3 times real quick to the left to kind of set the bike and angle right be it a burm/rut or sweeping turn. I find it also helps to hold what ever line you are trying to hold coming OUT of the turn as well, so if your a railing a left turn again to don't shoot to far left when you exit as well... idk every one rides different, besides it helping to thrown nasty whips and scrubs it helps me a little bit for turning to
If you lean the rider right the bike actually leans farther left because of center of gravity. If you go into SuperMoto and try it on a corner on the pavement I think you can feel/see it easier. Also, the lean forward/back has a similar effect. If you lean forward right before landing, for instance, it will actually pull your front tire up/drop back tire. You can use this for better landings when needed.
