Connection Timeout & Data Mismatch

If you get "Connection Timeout" error then your router / firewall could be blocking MXB. Please try opening UDP ports 54200 and 54210.

If you get "Data Mismatch" then you likely have an older version of a mod that the server is using, and will need to update it.

i see so many questions on here and no answers iv never seen a game with so many problems to bad caz when it works its great game for me it says( bike unknown to server } last time you had to download somthing with tires than it worked for 4 5 months now this any help would be great thanks

My game keeps crashing whenever I try to use OEM bikes. I can go to the garage while in testing but when I spawn in the game crashes. Also, whenever I try to play online it says "connection timeout". Please respond because I need help.

so i dony have an issue connecting to any servers but others can not connect to me when i am host of a server any idea or should i try this first

Stealthy, make sure you have firewall UDP ports 54200 and 54210 open. If that doesn't help, I'd try uninstall and reinstall. Backup and delete all of your other mods in case they are causing problems. Then redownload OEM 2023 bikes.

Grizzlyred50, you should make sure you have the correct ports open. If you are playing from the same PC you're hosting the server on, do not use the same port for the server. See the last post here: http://forum.mx-bikes.com/index.php?topic=2064.0

stealthy its your tires need the new ones for it to work as well had that same issue
had to remove old ones the tires should be under the new 23 oem bike on the mx bikes mod page

Ports are usually opened via your router (assuming you're on a personal network). It varies by router manufacturer. Google is your friend here. Its sometimes called "port forwarding" in router settings.

@Maxmcnally2009, remove all previously downloaded OEM bikes mods. Make sure you have downloaded the most recent bike pack

Do the downloaded oem bikes work correctly when doing a single race? Is the error happening in all game modes or only online?

Connection timeout means that you are trying to play on servers with too high of a ping. Try to find servers that have a lower ping.
