Smoking swampweed...
Is there any point to it (the first time it gave me 10 exp)? I know what smoking weed in real life does, but what does smoking swampweed do in Gothic?

My first time playing this game was about 2 weeks ago, and so far I'm really enjoying it.

if you smoke the different types they all give you a bonus for the first time you smoke them

Sounds good. I like good weed...err. I am really really enjoying Gothic. I know when I'm done with Gothic (hopefully by beating it) then I'll move on to Gothic II. I bought the Gothic collection a couple/few months ago when it was $12.50. So far I think I got an amazing deal, and I've only played the first one. Although I hear 3 and 4 are not as good.

Gothic 3 is actually pretty great. It is totally open world and you can do whatever you want in any order. The ending feels a little weird but that was to do Jowood forcing the games release before it was finished. Still though, it is definitely worth a play.

I would recommend downloading the community patch as their are a lot of bugs. Such is to be expected of a forced release :P
