I see that exists profiles for ds4 for gothic, but game does not respond to any input. Is this issue related to new patch ? By the way patch is awesome makes game runs smoothly i FHD res out of box. Thanks for answer.

You can either use Joy2Key, or install Controller Plugin for Union, adds plug&play controller support, with neat things like "wheel" menu for spells, which also slows time when toggled.

I don't know about DS4 controller profiles, but I've created one for Controller Companion for this game that works fantastically with my Xbox One controller. In it, I combine the Action Button (Ctrl) with the direction arrows, right and left on the triggers, Up on the Y button, Down on the Y button, so you can do actions with one button instead of timing two.
