Switch port update & controller support on PC?

Game actually plays pretty great on a controller, just did a full playthrough on a steam deck. Just have to get used to the oddity of having to hold for most actions.

They did say a few weeks ago the switch update would be coming eventually tho. Risen got updated earlier this year.

Much better than Baldur's Gate 1/2 console ports never getting the shockingly incredible controller schemes on pc.

In the meantime, the Steam workshop has a very good controller mod. Plays perfectly and I played through the entire game with a controller. Same goes for Gothic 2.

We are waiting but we don't know for what to be honest. It won't be copy-paste update from switch version. They could at least tell us what we will get...

Please release the upgrade patch now to coincide with the anniversary.(15th March)

A new patch for the switch version of G2 was released a week or so ago with a switch G1 patch rumored to be also on its way. I think it's safe to say the lads are hard at work on polishing the games and we should expect the pc patches to roll once they have nailed everything down on switch.
