Changing combat and "use" controls

So I would like to play the game as I did in Gothic 2, for me combat system and the action system in general in the first one is really annoying. I saw the One Click program which seems to correct the controls but I cant install it, seems like the program cant find the directory so then I install Spine which People were recommend it to manage mods easily, but then my game crush when I try to launch it through Spine. I only want to change action controls, it shouldnt be that difficult, i dont know what Im doing wrong.

There is easy solution for it, find systempack.ini file in game folder and change this line: "Gothic2_Control=1
; ... simplified control scheme: press LMB or CTRL for any action, instead of LMB+W or CTRL+W - on (1) or off (0), default is 0."

I did it, but fight still the same i would like to attack with LMB and block with RMB is that possible?

Nope cause there is more attacks than 2, press left mouse button and then W-attack forward, A-attack left D-attack right and W-block. I think it's a pretty nice combat system where you can control your attacks rather than blindly clicking a single mouse button. For example, when fighting a scavenger you will lose more HP by attacking only forward instead of alternating left and right attacks.

Okey, its a pitty in my opinion, I really liked the Gothic 2 system, maybe is cause im used to it and to Elex recently. This is a direct change in my face, ill try to adapt. Thanks for asking!

No problem, i cant help u with combat system but I hope the rest of the changes will make game more enjoyable for u. Btw If you like Gothic 2, I recommend the Chronicles of Myrtana mod, it is actually a separate game and in my opinion that is how Gothic 3 should look like.

Yes, I know about it, it might be the next game Ill play after Gothic 1. Chronicles looks amazing for a mod

It's definitely worth it, I don't play plot mods for Gothic, but here I made an exception and I felt as if a new full-fledged game had come out from under this banner. Its at Gothic 2 engine so i think you will like it.
A little spoiler, the main character of the chronicles of myrthana is in gothic 1 :)

is there no solution. to change the left click attack option from gothic2 in to gothic1 ?
i just dont want hold mouse and W to attack ... combat must be smooth like in g2

How to activate G2 control if "Gothic2_Control=1" already set?
Remark: in my file it set as "Gothic2_Control= 1" - have a space before number.

well that's a bummer. I'd really like to play the game but controls are damn awful. systempack helps a bit enabling controls from G2 but fighting is just terrible. i always thought mortal kombat i static but now i see it can be much worse. I think i'll just need to play remake instead.
