System Pack & Player Kit question
Hi:)
Do steam version of Gothic 1 & 2 require specific version of Player Kit and System Pack? Or they are the same for box/steam versions of those games?

Hey, I think they are same but im not sure. I installed Patch 1.08k, then Playerkit 1.08k and G1Classic-SystemPack-1.8 as last one and everything is fine. I also recommend installing "Ninja-2.7.12" and "Gothic 1 Community Patch" this fixes a lot of bugs and issues, including those with ladders.

Hey,
The Steam version of Gothic 1 comes with Patch 1.08k, Gothic 1 Playerkit 1.08k and Gothic 1 Systempack 1.8 preinstalled. I would also recommend installing Union and Gothic 1 Community Patch like @Cregan did.

The Steam version of Gothic 2 NotR apperantly comes with Patch 2.6, Gothic 2 Player Kit 2.8 and G2NotRSystem Pack 1.8 preinstalled too, although I am not 100% sure.
