Should i learn skin/declaw animals?

Would you recommend investing skillpoints for skinning/declawing animals or better save the points for other skills?

For me it was always obvious choice from perspective of roleplayer and nice source of money. But I do not like to min/max games as it kills immersion.

some of the hunter skills are pretty good since you find a lot of stuff to sell BUT later in the game you will swim in ore anyways....id choose skinning (claws/teeth are more like mid-late game)since it will earn you the extra ore in the first 2 chapters to buy nice weapons/armor or bribe people and so on. Also get the book for removing the sting of the swamp bees (or whatever they were called) its also some nice extra moeny

ok i think i learned all of it, but i still can't skin warans? I learned i think from Drax (4x1 skillpoint) and the book of flies. I think their name was waran, i don't mean the ones with the red brush on the back but the normal warans. (the ones you see on the way to sect camp).

idk exactly anymore but i think those lizards were skinable in gothic 2 in gothic 1 they only give claws

You can defenitly finish the game with mastered trophy gathering skill so it's up to you.
Trophies are mostly for additional money.

Yes, because they're cheap. Besides, you can use them to trade and since you kill so many monsters you will have a lot of these trophies to sell.
