GOTHIC 1: How do I get In Extremo back in my game?

Hi all,

I installed the inextremo_patch(dot)exe file in the game directory, but all that happens is Grim telling me about it and then going to cheer in front of an empty stage. No music, nothing.
Also, the patch renamed Scavengers to Scavenger of Hau(?). That one is funny though.

What did I do wrong?

I remember the patch working. Where did you get it from?

When I played the game recently I was actually surprised to find the In Extremo event in my game without installing that patch. Not sure if it was the Systempack that restored it or because I installed and played the game in german. (But I remember from years back that the german copy of the game on GOG did *not* have the band playing. Maybe it's different on Steam)

It might be important to not that I did not try to install any other patch, just the Steam Version of Gothic 1, the 1.08 version
