So it must have a different reason. Do use any mods, packs or the DX11 renderer?
Also a save gets corrupted when you save in that specific slot. Its physically impossible that all your games get just magically corrupted because you have too many items in your inventory. If a save game gets corrupted then because you saved in that save slot and at that time something happened. So did you just manually overwrite all your save games? Or do you maybe just have one or two saves.
Everyone has different play style, because you didn't have this issue doesn't mean other don't as well.
If you read above, it happen after we try to take everything from the merchant and in another one, after the person made too many weapon.
So far it happen only to weapon, not any other item.
All saves (slots) that were following that timeline ( i have 3 timelines, 5 slots per timeline) were corrupted.
I rolledback to a save prior to that exploit. I've done the exploit again, but this time, I've transferred all my non-essential loot in the chest in my house in New Camp.
I've saved on all 5 slots, and exited the game, restart, and now the saved are ok.
The error from the log says that the item buffer is full, which could mean the inventory buffer.
It must be a specific setting with the 1.08k version from Steam (latest update).
I didn't have any mods or cheats activated at the time.
So to remember, if you do exploits in game, make sure you "return to normal" your inventory before saving.
Just go and store all your extra copies of weapons off in a chest, maybe 2 to be safe, as well as any pointless items like coins to prevent this dumb bug.
