How to open the console ? [SOLVED]
Everything is written in the title : I don't manage to open the console, even by typing marvin in the player menu... I tried to find the file Gothic.ini in order to change "testmode = 0" to "testmode = 1". Again, no success.

What is "player menu" for you?

The good old guides sum up the typing instructions as "bmarvinb" because the 'b' key opens/closes the right screen, which is required in order to activate the cheat mode. So, open character/status screen, type "marvin", then leave the screen.

It can be a bit of a pain.

- You have to be in the character screen.
- You have to type the word marvin pretty fast.
- You have to take other keyboard layouts into account. For example, I have an azerty keyboard so 'marvin' for me means typing ',qrvin'.

After all this, you have to open the console by hitting the tilde key (~). Again, this may differ from the key on your keyboard that has the tilde symbol on it. You need to figure out where the tilde key is according to the game, not according to your keyboard. For me, the tilde symbol is way on the right of my keyboard, but to input a tilde to the game's satisfaction, I have to press the button below the Esc key (the button that has ² and ³ on it and no tilde whatsoever).

I knew it could be caused by my azerty keyboard. So I tried out in the save menu to see how this was warking out, and yes my "a" was "q", as I first thought. But I also forgot that in Gothic, the "m"gives nothing, and my "." gives "m"...

I'm good now, testmode is active without going in files ! Thanks for you answers guys :)
