Mouse cursor remains on screen in middle

character moves as normal but the mouse cursor stays in the middle of the screen

Also I just learned that I can't alt tab out of the game and the steam overlay doesnt work, When i tried to alt tab back into the game it just showed me the launcher, the music still plays in the background

Now I can't find the game to close it but the music still plays. Tried looking in task manager and everything but i can't find it. FOUND IT, was down in the middle of the page

Had to close the launcher window then it showed up

Is that with or without the Steam Fix?

Also, it is normal that the overlay doesn't work.

I am having the very same problem. The mouse stays right in the middle of the screen at all times. Also i cannot move the mouse in the Menu.
How did you resolve the issue?

My cursor started showing up when I couldnt use the launcher for no apparent reason and had to use the game exe file directly. I found a solution to this problem here:

Usually you can move your cursor during startup videos. Move it to the right side of your screen before menu loads, and it will stay there.
