The one that worked for me was this one:
https://github.com/dosinabox/g1_steam_fix/releases/download/19.12/Gothic_Steam_Fix_12.2019.exe
I already tried installing it but it didnt help
I'm sorry, it can be a pain. Try this:
https://www.reddit.com/r/worldofgothic/comments/7z9qlv/gothic_1_on_windows_10/
If nothing works I would perhaps suggest refunding Gothic and buying Risen 1 instead
What I did was:
1. Install Gothic 1
2. Install the Gothic Steam Fix (https://github.com/dosinabox/g1_steam_fix/releases/download/19.12/Gothic_Steam_Fix_12.2019.exe)
3. Change "scaleVideos=1" to "scaleVideos=0"
4. Change GothicMod.exe compatibility mode to Windows XP and disable fullscreen
5. Restart PC (for some reason it didnt work without the restart XD)
6. Run GothicMod.exe as administrator
And so my adventure with the Gothic saga begins. It took me like 2 days to set up but I hope it will be worth it. My expectations are pretty high right now tbh
That sounds like the most painful experience to get a game working ever! I hope you enjoy it after all that, are you playing in fullscreen?
Yes, even though I disabled it in the first place, it seems to work fine with fullscreen
works for me <3 thanks
Brilliant!
