Gothic 1.08j problems in Windows 10 64 bit.

Just downloaded the Game and when I start it up I get this:
"Gothic 1.08j has caused an access violation".

I see you guys are talking about the patch to Gothic 1.08k, which I don't know where to get from.

Any ideas?

Im having this same issue, The game worked for a minute but it was in a terrible window and the resolution was off, then it did the access violation, I just installed the fix and am going to try it out, Thanks.

The steam fix of D36 worked.
The issue I am having is the limited framerate that apperently is only set hard locked to 30. When installing the "GothFPS-108.zip" that is out there, then the steam fix is not working anymore. So it's either playing with lag, or not at all.
Is there another way to get the FPS higher without updating?
