#BUG: Bad work with proton. No music

I run game on new steam feature - proton. Music not work.
PS: Is the game now have supported?

The game's music works on DirectMusic - an old DirectX proprietary service. So it won't work on Proton. For now, at least. Unless someone develop some trick.

Could you explain how to do it? I'm entirely new to Linux (Steam Deck) and when I changed to this version of proton game just crash in menu. How do I do this protontrick etc? I love Gothic and while I dont care much about cinematics it sucks to have no music.

I actually had problems running "directmusic" command because of permissions on some of the DLLs, but I was able to solve that. The solution is a bit longer, but if anyone runs into it, let me know, I can write it down. It works this way even with recent Proton.
