Stuck in Iron Hills

Im stuck at the 4th waypoint where you have to run through the gate up the hill and fight a large group with 2 towers. I keep making a horde and attacking but cant kill them. What can i do here? I have 10 farms built

Although it has been awhile since I finished the campaign...

I usually go for towers first, since AI usually doesn't rebuild those. It usually easier to defeat an army of the Nameless without their towers.

Stay out of reach of the towers first. Use any one to lure the mass of guardians out to your group. After clearing out the guardians, the towers are easy.

Yep and than hope for the best, this part of the game is just your basic; send troops and wait till one of them win.

(Just finished it on very difficult, and these parts of the game are just annoying and based on getting lucky with your kills. You're hero's are mostly worthless, except if you build a great tank, but then again he cannot tank all of them even with all plate buffs on)
