What do the ritual stones do? am i cursed?

i found some coconuts with water there and drank from them after realizing what i done i went and put some hemp seeds for an offering to make up for it. ever since then it starts raining very often out of no where sometimes it will only last a minute will stop then start up again for longer. Also all my cups i have i havent been able to fill up with water anymore a bucket i found on another island was able to fill up but after a whole rain cycle it only filled up to 0.5. I also noticed my health keeps going down slowly even though i am good on food and water with about 30 tiredness. Unable to get my health to go up. Is this all because of ritual stones? am i cursed?

The game seems to randomly hand out tough times on some plays. I'm on a play through where there are only 3 sunken ships scattered on the eastern side of the cluster and no ritual statues on any of the 15 islands.

As far as the health thing goes, check that your vitamin C and salt are above 50%.

Since the game is still in development maybe eating or drinking the ritual offerings will either make you sick or give you full health in the future. Or it might make you delusional to the point of seeing the world in psychedelic colors and you will have to find herbs to cure yourself. It's all up to the developers.

I don't think the developers have implemented consequences for robbing the ritual offerings yet.

Your probably just unlucky but as Zep Tepi said if your vitamin C and salt levels are below 50% you will have a harder time keeping your overall health up.
