The resolution is bad and non-adjustable, some .isos are less agreeable than others. On my dual-core 3.1 ghz, I could play this game at 30-60 FPS (perfectly playable, DMC3 on the PS2 could go down to 40 as well). If I tried emulating it, I would get a fraction of that, even in less intensive fights.
I was actually considering keeping the original DMC3 on my computer so I could record some stupid Doppleganger/Quicksilver stuff with the non-nerfed Super Dante, but, well, the emulated version quite frankly isn't pretty enough, isn't smooth enough, and doesn't run as well as this.
It also doesn't apply the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ filter we see in the DMC HD collection where everything's several tones brighter.
If your emulator is better, please, provide a video so I can view the quality and then some information on where to get it. The version of the game would also be awesome, considering I have all them, it would be nice to know for personal use in case I decide to use any of the discs I've got laying around.
There were certain times I forget in the HD collection that these were distorted and quietened and omitted. And it just made the game a pain. And DMC3 on emulator is a solid 60fps for me. Get gud. Late Intel i5 + 660, cheap and easy. Mission 5 and it's perfectly smooth.
I think €/$ 9,99 should be default price this game.
played on my ps2, loved it
