DMC 3 (PS3) controller fix

After an hour or so of searching through multiple forums and constantly failing to get everything to work properly I managed to find a guide that did SOME justice. I'd like to share a tutorial of what worked for me in case no other guides work for you. (also for future reference)

I know there are plenty of people who use Xpadder, but this guide will be for Motioninjoy. If you don't have it go ahead and grab it, it's free and it does wonders.

Below are links of step by step screenshots of what you have to do if you already have Motioninjoy and cant figure out what to do anymore!

• | Step 1 | [24.media.tumblr.com] Click create.
  
• | Step 2 | [24.media.tumblr.com] This is what you will see.
  
• | Step 3 | [31.media.tumblr.com] Now change the buttons according to these screenshots. AND DO NOT FORGET TO SAVE. It'll be really annoying if you have to do everything all over again lmao. After you save click "Profiles" on the top left.
  
• | Step 4 | [31.media.tumblr.com] Now choose your custom profile, enable it, and test for vibration! Keep it open and open up DMC3 to see if it finally works or not. And that's it, this is what finally got my controller working properly.

ALSO...the controls are not the same controls as they are for PS2. They will look like THIS [31.media.tumblr.com] and if you prefer the PS2 controls they should look like THIS. [24.media.tumblr.com]

I also see people asking how to play full screen. That I don't know because it doesn't bother me, I prefer to play the game as 1280x960...so I cant suggest anything on that part. whoop



Otherwise, that's pretty much it. I hope this was able to help anyone in need!! I cant help beyond this point though haha I'm no genius...after an hour of digging this is as far as I can go.

For people who want to play full screen:
When you are at the main menu press Alt + Enter at the same time, should fix that.

if you have a ps3 controler, use betterDS3 to map it. Use the settings available in this post. R2 and L2 must be mapped to keybord since they are axis.
