Just Release is executing release.
There are 2 types of Royal Releases.
The first is an inperfect one when you Release around the time an enemy is about to hit. The timing is a bit easy, and you cover more range, do more damage, but you take a little bit of damage from the enemy who hit you.
The second Release is when you execute Release EXACALLY at the time an enemy hits you. Its considered a perfect counter attack, and you take no damage, do a LOT more damage, and you cover more area and launch weaker enemies in the air.
Depending on how many times you've blocked prior to using any version of release, your damage increases.
So for example, I have some point of attack for Just Release, for example 10 points of damage. When I Release attack I increased this points for 10 and after 3 Releases I would have 40 points of attack, and when I Just Release I deal damage like 40 points of attack, but my points decreased to default value in 10 points, it is like Im understand, right..?
A simple trick to get Royal Blocks is to use the invincibility frames in both your side-roll and jump animation. At the start of a jump or a side roll you have invincibility frames (i-frames), meaning you can't get damaged during those. So, if you're about to get hit and you jump, you won't receive damage, however, if during that jump you press the style button to block this will count as a Royal Block. You can use the same trick for the release.
