Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition

constant crash on load up
can't even get this game to launch, tried everything including compatability mode but still no luck, any ideas?

Did you try swaping models in the game? if you did it and did it wrong it leads to a instant crash so best thing to do is reinstall a backup Gdata.pak or verify the game cache in steam.

sorted it out but thanks for the reply, bloody fps is still terrible though, 30 on that final fight on mission 2, only thing i can think is to delete certain music files, can't think of anythin else

Yeah deleteing the music files should fix the fps issue but my pc can somehow handle it without a single frame drop.

lucky u, i am able to run newer games no problem but this causes annoying frame drops

don't worry about it, just wish i could fix it without having to resort to deleting half the music tracks

Same, come to think of it when I first started it up the game was running in slow mo then I installed style switcher and it was fine audio and all. Try installing style switcher that might actually help

tried that however just causes my game to crash again, its really annoying

Yeah its a pain in the ass to install but if you can get it to work without your game crashing its worth it (this is the third time I bought DMC3 and I bought it just for style switcher)
