Save from DMC HD to DMC 3 SE

Hi, I have an interesting question. Does anyone know if it is possible to transfer a save from DMC HD Collection to dmc 3 se ?

At the moment, I can say that the files inside look very similar, so there is a possibility that it might be possible.

If PS2 to PC 2006, it's probably possible in some way since the port's based on that but if HDC 2018 to HDC 2012, then maybe possible in some way.

But how far's your progress, already finished Dante Normal playthrough?

If you mean whether I've beaten the game on normal difficulty, then yes.

There's probably someone's save file that you can use somewhere that matches your progress.

In short, what I can say is this:
The original DMC3 SE uses a more sophisticated storage system, possibly with additional information.
HD Collection stores saves in a more compact format.
A simple data exchange won't work because the games probably use different save structures.
