Inverted analog sticks
Will I need to download XPadder to change this? Is there something I need to change in the .ini?
I've tried changing it, but it hasn't worked.

In the dmc3se.ini file you should find a section that looks something like this:
[Controller (XBOX 360 For Windows)]
START = 7
SELECT = 6
CIRCLE = 1
TRIANGLE = 3
SQUARE = 2
CROSS = 0
L1 = 4
R1 = 5
L2 = 11
R2 = 12
L3 = 8
R3 = 9
L<->R = 1

Changing the number on "L<->R = 1" to either 0 or 1(depending on what it currently is), should reverse the analog sticks.

If the Dmc3se.ini does not include these lines, you can just write them there.
Be aware though that different controllers require different configurations. The above section only works for xbox controllers.

You can probably find the config to your controller from this thread:

I've tried this and it didn't work. I've also visited this thread numerous times.

do you have the styleswitcher mod installed?
The styleswitcher.ini also includes the same controller configs, have you tried to change it there?

No, I haven't installed it. I'll try that later.

Also, I downloaded version 1.0.

I can't help you much with the version 1.0, since I use 2.4.3 myself.
I don't know if you can do this with the old version, but try going to styleswitcher.ini and changing your display width and height to correspond your native resolution.

As an example: My computer's native resolution is 1920 x 1080, so I use this:
[DISPLAY]
Width=1920
Height=1080
FOV=0.5
Fullscreen=1

It's not that I can't see anything, it's just that when I try to lauch the game nothing happens.

My game refuses to launch unless the resolution is set to native. I thought this was the same issue.

Well if that didn't work, i'd recommend trying to launch the game in compatibility mode or downloading the newer version of the styleswitcher mod.

There is something probably wrong with the file placement.
I googled your problem a bit and found someone who resolved the problem by reinstalling styleswitcher and following these instructions:

The image is a bit messy imo, but it should help you check if you got all the files where they belong.

You should also check if "Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 x86" and "DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010)" found in the mod install instructions, are properly installed and that the game is patched.
