STYLE SWITCHER FINAL IS OUT![www.nexusmods.com]

This mod allows you to switch styles on the fly (Like in Devil May Cry 4). It also adds new modes and features and fixes most of the issues with the game.

Installation
- Requires Visual C++2015[www.microsoft.com]
- Delete previous versions of the mod including GData.afs, if any.
- Copy and paste the contents from the bin folder into your Devil May Cry 3 folder and run install.bat.
- Select dinput8.dll if you play with a keyboard OR dsound.dll if you use a Xinput device (controller) and press enter.

I bought this game again (I haver PS2, PC and PS3 also) just to be able to use the patch. The game doesn't run. Every tutorial is different from what is on the website. If anyone can give an answer soon I won't ask for my monney back.

Just get a refund. You have to really, really want to play this game to go through the struggles of getting it to work correctly.

For those of you who haven't been keeping up. The Weapon Switcher beta has been live since November 23rd. This allows you to use all 10 weapons at once.

Installation is simple. Download Weapon Switcher Beta and just extract dinput8.dll and WeaponSwitcher.dll to your Devil May 3 root directory and rename dsound.dll to StyleSwitcher.dll (you must have Style Switcher 2.4.3 Beta installed). The current working versions are 2.4.3 for Style Switcher and 1.1.0 for Weapon Switcher.

Keep in mind that it's a beta over a beta and it has its issues so it's only recommended for the cuhrayzee-est of you.

The Style and Weapon Switcher 3 Beta has been live for a while, this is a major update that includes the Weapon Switcher, Arcade and Boss Rush mode plus many other enhancements and bugfixes.

Bought Dmc3 on sale and installed the styleswitcher 3 mod from 30 october. But extracting the files into the dmc folder only would be to simple like suggested. But the game look very SHARP now really nice ! Better then the hd collection on 360. Only thing is when i start up the game i get the intro and press start to skip it, i jump direct into mission 1 where dante kicks out the door. The game now skips the first battle in the office and jumps then directly into mission 10 ( after dante kicks out of the office ) where vergil is standing. No cutscene, vergil just stands there.

I cannot get into the main menu. Anyone know what i did wrong or should have done properly ?

You haven't done anything wrong.

Go to your Devil May Cry 3 directory and open StyleSwitcher.ini, look for or use seach option for Arcade=1 and change it to Arcade=0

The .ini has arcade mode enabled by default. Just disable it and you're goood to go. If you need any further help with the StyleSwitcher.ini let me know!

Only thing i need now is a way to get it to full screen. Alt Enter won't do the job. And the Links in other topics for screenfix end up with no result.

Edit : Changed the resolution to 1920x1080@75 ( it's still windowed though, but with a thin white box line above. Is there a better way ?

You don't need screenfix. In StyleSwitcher.ini Mode=0 is Windowed and Mode=1 is FullScreen

Changing Mode=1 makes the frame rate drops from 110 to 30. But i think that had to do with my monitor. Thank you again

The game is not designed to run above 60fps. Also if you have any custom profiles with Nvidia or ATI I'd recommend you to disable them for this game since some might have conflicts with the mod.

I installed the mod successfully but now only my d-pad responds on the start menu but no other button does on my xbox 360 afterglow controller. Previously I copied the following into the DMC3SE.ini and the controller worked.

I then got the left and right triggers to work using xpadder but after installing the mod I found my controller stopped working so I tried copying the controller config into the style switcher.ini but nothing changed. So after installing the mod how do I get my controller to work?
