STYLE SWITCHER MOD
LATEST UPDATE: 27 Feb 2017

STYLE SWITCHER FINAL IS OUT![www.nexusmods.com]

This mod allows you to switch styles on the fly (Like in Devil May Cry 4). It also adds new modes and features and fixes most of the issues with the game.

Installation
- Requires Visual C++2015[www.microsoft.com]
- Delete previous versions of the mod including GData.afs, if any.
- Copy and paste the contents from the bin folder into your Devil May Cry 3 folder and run install.bat.
- Select dinput8.dll if you play with a keyboard OR dsound.dll if you use a Xinput device (controller) and press enter.
- More detailed instructions in documentation.html

I'm glad you were able to solve your problem. DMC3 is infamous for being a terrible port and even though this mod fixes most of the issues with the game, some people still have a hard time getting it to work. Anyhow, another way to get around controller issues is creating a controller profile for the game using Big Picture mode.

Damn it's been a while since I've answered anything here...

I have made a thread about this, but no one replied, so I'll try to ask here. Sorry if this has already been asked. My game doesn't launch after installing SS 3.1.6. On the first install of the game, it ran perfectly with SS installed. But when I reinstalled DMC3 and installed SS, it didn't want to launch. It just appears in Task Manager for a few seconds then the process dies. Without SS installed, the game launches and runs normally. I did a clean install of the DMC3, but to no avail. I don't have the Steam version by the way, I have a physical retail DVD copy of the game. Does anyone how to fix this? Because I really wanna play DMC3 with SS installed.

Your version of the game is not compatible with SS, that or you don't have the Visual C++ packages installed. The former can be solved with the japanese patch for DMC3, copy the following on your browser, delete all the *

ht*tps://*1drv.ms*/u/s!AvCrYK-leKmjgUfoY5CjIyBqzlzN

This is how I made my retail copy work with SS. Extract and replace inside your DMC3 directory and you should be good to go.

Thanks so much dude, but I fixed it a few days ago. It was because the .exe of the retail copy has SecuROM DRM built in, so I download the DRM-free widescreen fix .exe from WSGF and it fixed itself.
