Grand Tactician: The Civil War (1861-1865)

Personality Traits?
I just picked up the base game yesterday along with Whisky and Lemons and have been having a lot of fun all around. One thing I've been wondering though is what exactly all the personality traits do in terms of effects on the character, as the DLC manual only seems to go into detail about the heroism trait. Is there a wiki or other information repository where one can find this information?

The attributes of my character that are a mystery to me in terms of their mechanical effects are the teetotaler trait, the reliable trait, the devout trait and the radical trait. Any help in this regard is appreciated.

The best suggestion I can give at the moment is when you have a trait just hover your mouse over it for a moment to see the pop up info. I don't think there is a guide for it out there. You could probably look in the config folder (In the games local files) and see if there is a traits notepad there that might have everything listed. Though be careful not to change anything unless you want to edit the game.

What they do in any case is determine the kind of companions that might join you, who in turn have their own action associated with them that you can then use. There are also certain random events bound to certain traits.

Not sure if and what other effects those traits really have and if they influence your stats or the moral of your men.

They will affect the morale of your troops. If you check your morale in the game it will say things like “-5% commander traits”. I had a psychopath commander that would give a morale debuff like that.
