You can easily edit the game files to whatever you want. Some of my most fun playthroughs have been giving myself or the CSA 40 billion dollars and running wild. Things get pretty crazy late with troop numbers and high quality weapons.

Devs have given us a modding tool and it is in every game folder :)
If you can open notepad and pay attention to where lines are you can mod a ton of things.
Or you can use the modding tools to straight up export changes you make in the spreadsheet right to the game files.

Just remember to back up those files or do a steam verify if you want to revert.

I have played around with all sorts of things like changing weapon stockpiles, income, starting funds, starting policies, unit behavior, you name it. A lot can be easily adjusted.

Where is the modding tool?

Found it!

Have fun! be sure to use the 1.11 modding tool. Digging in the files can be a bit overwhelming at first but you will get used to how things are displayed. From modding tools to game files the columns are now rows. Once I realized that it was quite easy to adjust values.

So I was wanting to increase the production in the south for resources etc but I dont see an option for that in the excel

You can do it but you won't be able to do it with the modding tools. The easiest way to accomplish this objective would be to give the CSA a lot of money and upgrade all of your buildings at game start.

You have a buildings tab buildings type tab and resource tab in the modding tools. You can use those three to create the desired affect. However you can't change buildings for just one side. So it would affect both. Best bet is do what I said above.

Hmm id rather just use a trainer lol. Do you know of any good ones?

To my knowledge none exist for this game. It is pretty niche.

Aw :( well im in the notepad thing trying to find where to boost the CSA money but I cant find it. Im searching CSA and just going down the list, that didnt work so now im going line by line lol

nations file. CSA and Union are towards the bottom. Union starting cash is line 1046 and CSA starting cash is line 1088

I know this because I just finished setting up a game that has both the CSA and Union starting with 100 mil starting subsidy money in each category and 50 billion cash on hand. I expect it to be chaos.

Hmm all I see are tons of nations.DAT files.
rahonbass Jan 20, 2023 @ 11:51pm
Right go to the campaign you want to play and make the adjustments to that nations.dat file. lines should be the same for all campaigns

Is there a youtube video that shows how to do this lol theres no descriptors in the files, just a bunch of numbers so idk what to change. Theres nothing at line 1088, there looks to be something at line 1046 but I have no clue what it means. And how do I know which file location to pick? Theres over 50 of them :(
